What the Cuba Report Should Have Said | Steven Hecht

The State Department’s (DOS) July 20 report “Cuba: The Capital of 21st Century Communism” (the Report) will not achieve momentum on its own. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accurately calls Cuba “an espionage superpower” with agents burrowed into “the highest levels of the US government.” However, the Report’s critics have landed serious blows to its credibility that are hampering its practical impact.
