White House says president’s accounts are invested in ‘computer-based model portfolios’ to replicate stock indexes
President Donald Trump disclosed more than 1,000 stock trades in June, highlighting the unusually active management of his investment portfolio while he is in office. The financial disclosure showed 1,051 transactions, involving purchases and sales with a combined reported value ranging from approximately $78.1 million to $263.1 million.
Among the reported purchases were shares of major companies such as Berkshire Hathaway, Visa, Mastercard, Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Meta and Broadcom. Trump also reported transactions involving SpaceX following the company’s public debut. Some individual purchases were valued between $1 million and $5 million.
The disclosure also showed significant sales, including a transaction involving a Vanguard exchange-traded fund valued between $5 million and $25 million. Trump bought and sold shares of some of the same companies during the month.

The extensive trading has drawn attention because some companies in his portfolio do business with the federal government, raising potential conflict-of-interest concerns. The White House says Trump does not personally manage the investments, which are handled by outside managers and automated strategies designed to track market indexes.
