Anthropic in Talks to Acquire AI Startup Decart for $6 Billion

Anthropic, the company behind Claude, is reportedly in talks to acquire Israeli AI startup Decart for around $6 billion, according to Bloomberg. If completed, the deal would be Anthropic’s largest acquisition to date.

Decart develops AI technology known as “world models,” designed to simulate physical environments and software systems. The technology could help Anthropic improve the efficiency of training and running AI models while reducing computing costs.

The potential acquisition comes as Anthropic faces rapidly growing demand for computing capacity and prepares for a possible IPO in 2026. Decart raised $300 million in May, reaching a valuation of roughly $4 billion. Nvidia has also reportedly held discussions with the startup.
