To recover our liberty from Democrats and RINOs, Donald Trump must defeat Kamala Harris, and Republicans, led by America-first members, must control Congress.
Congress must then change its ways and exercise genuine oversight, presumably in partnership with Elon Musk and the proposed Department of Government Efficiency. Trump and Congress must change the federal bureaucracy from an unaccountable, subversive fourth branch of government to the limited role our founders intended.
House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) exhibits what must change. His September 9 majority report on the Biden-Harris Afghan withdrawal is a distraction consistent with McCaul’s aiding and protecting of State Department (DOS) criminality.
The report, entitled “Willful Blindness,” identifies “failure to plan” and “dereliction of duty” that have “damaged US credibility.” While true, exposing DOS incompetence and even lies is insufficient to advance US liberty. Calling the Biden-Harris regime incompetent distracts from its tyranny and criminal pursuit of a one-party state.
DOS is a key element in the corrupt establishment that gets us into avoidable wars and keeps us in them for long periods. DOS commits crimes throughout the world, and exposing them—Congress’s job—would shock the public and create support for change. We would then only go to war when it has public support and is unavoidable, as opposed to when it feeds a corrupt, tyrannical regime that preys on us.
Former DOS official and Foundation for Freedom Online Director Mike Benz told Tucker Carlson that DOS promotes lawfare abroad. “After the United States overthrows a country’s [government], it arrests opposition politicians, judges, and journalists … to stop the reemergence of threats to democracy.”
DOS’s view of democracy is Orwellian, as is the Biden-Harris regime’s. HFAC’s inaction regarding their antidemocratic actions shows McCaul agrees with them. Benz noted, for example, that an HFAC subcommittee hearing, “Brazil: A Crisis of Democracy, Rule of Law, and Governance,” did not examine “[DOS’s] role in censorship in Brazil.”
The Biden-Harris regime and DOS participated in the 2022 Brazilian electoral fraud that made convicted criminal Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva president. HFAC is complicit by not investigating and exposing this. Lula is an ally of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In addition, DOS has supported radical collectivists in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru. Despite DOS’s criticism of Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, its actions have, on balance, helped those governments.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken admitted in an HFAC hearing to extorting Guatemalan congressmen. When he justified it by claiming DOS was defending democracy, Blinken lied about Guatemala’s 2023 election. DOS and the Biden-Harris regime directed electoral fraud to install their communist puppet as president.
In a subsequent HFAC hearing, Assistant Secretary of State Brian Nichols admitted to the same crimes and told the same lies as Blinken. Nichols had protected Colombia’s Gustavo Petro administration in a June 7, 2023, HFAC subcommittee hearing. Petro’s defense minister has turned Colombia into a land route for illegal narcotics and migrants.
McCaul has protected DOS by preventing follow-ups to congressional testimony showing DOS officials’ criminality. McCaul gave bipartisan support for electoral fraud with his July 14, 2023, HFAC press release, which repeated DOS lies about Guatemala’s election.
The criticism of DOS in McCaul’s Afgan report appears to be an attempt to project an image of strong oversight. Adding to this are McCaul’s subpoena for Blinken to testify on September 19 and the threat of contempt if Blinken does not.
DOS pushed back against the subpoena, claiming Blinken has testified about the Afghanistan withdrawal and provided voluminous material. This is feigned conflict, a false fight.
Accusing DOS and the Biden-Harris regime of incompetence does not affect them. McCaul has aided and protected DOS criminality, and this ruse is to help McCaul continue in congressional leadership.
McCaul told Greta Van Susteren on The Record that Harris has responsibility for the Afghan withdrawal. This is his attempt to appear to be in line with Trump and the America-first movement.
The Wall Street Journal ran a hit piece on Trump’s prospective foreign policy. It quoted McCaul saying Trump needs “traditionalists” like him to “make sure he does not get off the reservation.” He means the RINO/establishment reservation.
McCaul’s statement explains why HFAC has not held DOS accountable for its treason. If McCaul really wanted to help defeat Harris, he could expose the crimes she committed and fronted for in Guatemala.
Biden assigned Harris to work with El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. Her agenda has been to flood our country with illegal immigrants. McCaul could show how Harris knowingly sacrifices women to rape and children to slavery at the hands of criminal Mexican cartels.
Trump has said that, unlike in 2016, he will appoint people who will reform the federal bureaucracy so that it works for the people instead of the elites. Trump will need congressional leaders committed to this agenda who will do what McCaul has not.
