Rep. Darrell Issa says Trump has a mandate for wholesale change in foreign policy, and if @StateDept officers can‘t execute his policy, they should resign. @repdarrellissa is a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC). @SpeakerJohnson should make Issa its chairman in the 119th Congress.
Current HFAC chairman Michael McCaul blocked follow up to @SecBlinken and @WHAAsstSecty Nichols both having admitted to crimes in HFAC hearings. They extorted Guatemalan congressmen to vote for a law they thought would permit Guatemala’s president Arévalo to fire Attorney General Consuelo Porras.
Porras has been investigating child-trafficking to the USA. 85,000 children out of 320,000 the DHS Inspector General reported missing are Guatemalan. @StateDept personnel and Arévalo have committed several crimes, including sedition, to remove Porras as AG.
Blinken and Nichols lied to Congress when they justified the extortion by claiming to have been defending democracy. They were trying to complete the 2023 electoral fraud @StateDept led to install Arévalo.
The next HFAC chair must investigate @StateDept actions in Guatemala that have harmed US national security, including facilitating child-trafficking and the illegal flows of migrants and drugs to the USA. This will be a catalyst for Trump to make wholesale changes in foreign policy.
