Natural Rights Stand in the Way of Evil
Charlie Kirk was a political activist and an advocate for faith. Our founders knew that a free and successful republic requires a moral populace. They created a society based on Judeo-Christian principles.
Politics and faith are inseparable for liberty, which we must preserve.
Ours is an exceptional country, because it is the only one in history to state at its birth that the Creator grants our rights, not government. Totalitarians—communists, fascists, progressives, radical socialists, leftists, etc.—reject the created world and put faith in government to change it. This substitutes man for the Creator and results in misery.
The leftist political agenda promotes increasing government power to overwhelm its enemies on a path to totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is built on lies and must suppress truth to survive, as demonstrated by leftist intolerance and coercion.
The contrast between the violence following George Floyd’s death and the lack of violence by his supporters after Kirk’s assassination is telling. Whoever disagrees with leftism is evil and deserves to suffer—so the rationale goes. People who believe in liberty look to faith and nonviolent action to address tragedies.
Leftists deny this and claim both sides use violence. That is why the aftermath of Kirk’s assassination is so devastating to them. Leftists must lie, even to themselves, to block the truth.
As President Donald Trump said in his first term, Venezuela is not socialism gone bad but socialism realized. Without exception, communism has ended in misery, but leftists turn a blind eye and claim their current version will work.
Leftism is a psychological control operation designed to divide us with lies and be at war with the truth. It spreads like cancer, eating us alive from within.
Lies can be sustained long enough to destroy the world if their purveyors control the means of mass communication. Without the legacy media and its owners as partners, the Joe Biden regime would have been unable to polarize our society, promote crime, and flood the country with illegal immigrants and narcotics.
The antidote is truth. We must learn how to tell it effectively, including using humor, as Ronald Reagan did and Trump does. Leftists hate humor because the best humor is based on truth. We must remove the leftists’ democracy masks to reveal the totalitarians behind them.
Kirk was assassinated for telling the truth. During the Biden regime, Kirk said Democrats are executing “a deliberate plan of destruction against the United States … They hate the country.” That included destroying the dollar, creating a government bureaucracy to persecute everyday citizens, and flooding the country with illegal immigrants.
Kirk said Biden’s destruction was “not a mistake or an accident … It is intentional and, therefore, it is evil … [Biden was] a traitor to the United States.” Kirk’s sincerity and engagement with young people and those who disagreed with him made him one of the most effective advocates for liberty.
Democrats violated our laws by opening our borders. This resulted in at least 10 million mostly unvetted people, including common criminals and terrorists, entering the country.
Trump is attempting to remove them by enforcing the law. However, Democrats use the R-word to scare and demonize people.
The unscrupulous manipulators who have captured the Democratic Party prey on human weakness. They polarize us through identity politics to keep their followers permanently angry, fearful, and full of hate for all who disagree with them.
Democrats’ portrayal of Trump and his supporters as Nazis, racists, and cultists is a projection onto perceived opponents. These lies have led to many actions against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), including the September 24 shooting in Dallas, Texas.
California’s recently passed No Secret Police Act, if enforced, will prevent ICE agents from wearing masks. Democrats’ violent arm will then have an easier time attacking the agents and their families. Meanwhile, Democrats claim they are saving democracy.
Leftists falsely claim ABC’s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel was a First Amendment violation. In contrast, leftists applauded the censorship of COVID-19 information under the pressure of the Biden regime. Now, leftists are pressuring Disney to ensure Kimmel remains on public airwaves. Leftists consistently promote lies and suppress truth.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said that when Democrats regain power, they will go after anyone “doing the bidding of the Trump administration.” This threat of retaliation for proper law enforcement is from someone who supported the Biden regime’s lawfare.
The contrast between leftist rhetoric and reality could not be starker. It is beyond a double standard. Democrats have one standard: impose their totalitarian agenda on us by any means necessary.
We must return to our founders’ vision of natural rights to defend our liberty from totalitarian assault. We need to know ourselves and the world around us well enough not to succumb to lies intended to destroy our freedom. We must engage in critical thinking, searching for truth, and robust debate.
Returning to our founders’ Judeo-Christian principles does not require each citizen to be religiously affiliated and observant. The core is believing and internalizing that all people are created equal and respecting others’ rights to their opinions and beliefs. This is how we can live in peace and have prosperity.
