Two children, 8 and 10 years old, were killed in a mass shooting at their Catholic school in Minneapolis on Wednesday during a morning church service, police said.

They were “killed where they sat” praying in pews packed with students, staff and parents, officials added at a press conference.
First responders and law enforcement swarmed the area surrounding Annunciation Catholic School around 8:30 a.m. local time, following reports of heavy gunfire, FOX 9 reported.

A male gunman was later found dead, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Police say there are up to 20 victims, including the two children who have died. Two other kids are in critical condition, they said in the presser around 11 a.m.
Police are investigating whether a sick 20-minute YouTube video shared on an account hours before the shooting is connected to Westman.

In the video, a hand slowly turns the pages of a red notebook, which is laid out on top of what appears to be schematic gun diagrams.
Each page is filled with inscrutable handwritten scrawl, an occasional plume of smoke is seen from the bottom of the screen as the person turning the pages coughs and occasionally maniacally giggles.

Other videos show an obsession with mass shooters — including Sandy Hook killer Adam Lanza.

Westman, who died at the scene of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, was armed with a rifle, a shotgun and a handgun. The shooter was not previously known to law enforcement, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara told reporters at a press conference.

Videos posted to YouTube show multiple weapons — including a semi-automatic rifle and a shotgun. Magazines were scrawled with “for the children” and “kill Donald Trump.”
